This is one of the first projects I worked on with architect Eric Majer. We designed and prototyped a ceiling with custom lighting fixtures for Air Canada’s Maple Leaf Lounge (which Majer also designed) at Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport, Montreal. The ceiling is made of custom, suspended brass-coated ceiling panels that hold LED lights with polygonal diffusers. The lights gently “dance” across the ceiling, alternating on and off in a dappled rhythm that is inspired by leaves falling on a pond. Designed in collaboration with HDDO and CS Design.
