Murdoch Laing Competition, Honorable Mention
This section use built-up beams to span the house width between two load bearing fire walls, in a strategy to support brick facade. A mansard roof of metal shingles keeps a low profile and picks up the wall plane.
16x16 House
1st year drafting project, Winter 2014 with Ossama Elkholy
As part of our Organization of Materials in Building class, we had to design and detail a small 16'x16' cabin on a flat terrain. A full set of drawings was developed within the Canadian standards of wood frame construction.
The Canning Centre
2nd year, Fall 2015, quick wall section
Although this is more of a sketch than a final wall section, it manages to express clearly a relationship between a Corten metal screen, a curtain wall, and a the concrete structure. .
